In April 2008, The Fortunes were asked to appear at 'The Cannery Casino' in down town Las Vegas. They shared the stage with The Searchers as part of a mini 'British Invasion' tour. It was a long and tiring journey but worth every minute! The packed, very appreciative audience applauded The Fortunes from the stage after well over an hour of fantastic entertainment! Afterwards, whilst meeting fans, the lads were approached by non other than Spencer Davis, front man of 'The Spencer Davis Group' and 'Traffic'. Spencer was very forthcoming in his praise for The Fortunes and said he looked forward to seeing them in Vegas again soon!

In March 2009, The Fortunes flew to Canada for a series of dates in the south of that vast country. The first show took place at Mc Phillips Station Casino in Winnipeg after which they were whisked off to do a live radio show. The lads then flew on to Regina where they did two shows, one of which was at the wonderful Moosejaw Theatre and another at Casino Regina. Whilst in Edmonton where their last show was to take place at the Century Casino, they chatted on a live TV 'News' show.

On the 25th July 2009, The Fortunes topped the bill at the prestigeous Helsingborg Festival in Sweden. The historic town has several events and festivals throughout the year which lends it a festive atmosphere, but the Helsingborg Rock Festival in July is probably the biggest and has performances by local and 'name' foreign artists.
On March 28th 2010, The Fortunes were asked to share the stage with two other British bands, Racey and Sailor in Eurohal Zuidbroek in North Holland.
In December 2010, The Fortunes were asked to cruise The Caribbean on P&O's good ship 'Oceana'. We flew to Miami, then on to Nicaragua where after a breakneck journey through the magnificent countryside we boarded at San Juan Del Sur. Oceana then sailed through The Panama Canal to The Dutch Antilles. A fabulous trip!

On March 26th 2011 The Fortunes were invited to play at 'der Jabachhall der Stadt' in a lovely town called Lohmar near the Dutch border in Germany. A good friend of the band, Karl Beck and his lovely partner Susanne invited us to play alongside The Hermits at the fabulous venue. Ingo Franke, who runs our German Fan Club also attended and it was nice to meet up with all our fans there!

On April 3rd 2011 The Fortunes played at 'Super Oldie Festival at de Schakel in Reuver' in The Netherlands. Also on the bill were 'The Swinging Blue Jeans' 'Middle of the Road' featuring Sally Carr and 'Mud 2'
