Biography:
Michael moved with his family at the age of four to Whitehaven
in Cumbria & returned to Coventry in 1969 aged eighteen. He
turned professional in the early seventies & served his musical
apprenticeship backing the likes of Del Shannon, Bobby Vee, PJ
Proby, Percy Sledge, Johnny Tillotson, The Marvelettes, Anne Peebles,
The Floaters and The Drifters... amongst others!
For
quite a few years, Michael toured extensively around the world
in a 'journeyman' band (Smackee) with Paul Hooper, before joining
The Fortunes in the early eighties. Michael now lives with wife
Pamela in a small village in south Warwickshire. He has three
daughters & three grandsons.

Fitness training, cars, his computers.
